ARCHIVE - backup archive never complete successfully

Dear friends,


We have a server running archive every month and its size is 403 Gb (whole disk).


I understand that the archive backup is always FULL and in this case your automatic backup never ends successfully, there is always a failure, and this failure is that the service drop or server administrator user stop the service.


How to proceed for the archive to be successful.


OBS:
This server, Windows Server 2003 runs the application called ClearCase and other applications.
