Hi,
We have a running TSM server 6.x over AIX environment with library manager.
It is using a TS3500 library successfully, currently TS3500 library is /dev/smc1
I am new to this AIX servers and I would like to know if defining a new logical library in the TS3500 would create a new device in the AIX box or if I simply need to define the new library in TSM server using the same device.
(If I run lsdev -Cc tape in the AIX server no new smcs are created, but I don't know how to force a FC rescan)
Has anyone done something similar?
Thanks everybody!
