I'm wanting to setup 2 instances of TSM 6.3 on the same Linux server. One would be the primary instance and the other would be "idle" for DR of an instance running at another site. The thought being that I could restore the TSM database quickly and have a DR instance running. I have setup multiple instances on the same server before with version 5.x, but never with 6.x and DB2. Has anyone done this before that might know how doing this in 6.x compares to 5.x?
Also, has anyone used the HADR functionality of DB2 for DR purposes in TSM? If so, is that feature available with the DB2 that comes with TSM, or does it require additional software and/or license?
I don't have the hardware setup yet or I would be trying this instead of asking about it.
