ANE4251W System Writer Message appeared in TOR actlog after TSM:EE v6.3.4 upgrade

Hi all,

I recently upgraded my TSM:EE server from v6.2.2.2 to v6.3.4.0 and everything is working fine. We have a Tivoli Operating report (The old v.5 report modified to work with v6) running each morning that scans the usual things. Since the v6.3.4 update however, I have noticed that the activity log section is now full of hundreds of entries for "ANE4251W System Writer File not found" act log entries. These were not in the report prior to the upgrade of the TSM:EE server (note, the TOR was not upgraded since its an old v5.x component).

ANE4251W System Writer file '\\pc360\c$\windows\system32\driverstore\temp\{265 bf609-0aab-0a19-8215-a21d16d0ba39}\unidrv.hlp': not found. (SESSION: 23714)

I checked the client dsmsched.log files and it appears that these warnings had always existed prior to the v6.3.4 upgrade, but they were just not reported in the activity log. Another interesting item, is that in the client's dsmsched.log, that the error has a message no of "ANS4251W" vs the "ANE4251W" that is shown in the TOR activity log section.

I researched the error itself and it appears to be a Microsoft VSS error where VSS is telling TSM to backup files that no longer exist. I see it on dozens of Win7 system in my environment, but only on Win7 systems. A majority of these files are also in temp directories. So I am not worried about the error.

My question is, has this message changed for v6.3.x so that its now included in the actlog where it was not included before?

Thanks.

[edit]
Hmm. Looks like its on the list of new v6.3.0 messages. I will leave this post up since it may help someone else googling for answers. :D
