Short question about upgrading library from LTO3 to LTO6 ! What to do with the tapes?

We plan to upgrade our external library from LTO3 to LTO6 technology. Therefor we have to move some primary-pools that are located in this library.

In my opinion I would do:
- define a new storagepool based on a new deviceclass, that points to the LTO6-drives
- updating the "next storage pool" parameter in the "old" storagepool-definition, pointing to the new storagepool
- migrating the data by changing the Hi/Lo-parameters of the old storagepool
- if neccessary writing (new) copypool[s] by entering values in the filed "copy storage pools"

If all data is migrated the old definitions (pool, deviceclass) can be deleted and the new will be renamed to the old names.
All work is then done...... so far, so good...

My colleagues are discussing about creating a new (logical) library with the new LTO6-drives.
This new library must then be defined with all things around within TSM (library, paths, drives, managementclass, storagepools and so on..)

The next step is to move the data from the old library to the new library (as far as i heard) with "move data.......".
Question: Is this possible ???
