TSM Database Restore

Hi

Have a problem this morning and looks like a corruption of database - admin missed
the log getting full. In the past I have recovered it for them by doing this:
cd /usr/tivoli/tsm/server/bin

dsmserv format 4 /tsm/logs/log1.dat /tsm/logs/log2.dat /tsm/logs/log3.dat /tsm/logs/log4.dat 3 /tsm/database/db.dat /tsm/database/db1.dat /tsm/database/db2.dat

This will format the 4 log vols and the 3 db vols, using the space they already have on the filesystem.

Then:

dsmserv restore db todate=today preview=yes

But today as soon as try to format hit error:
ANR7800I DSMSERV generated at 11:28:53 on Mar 26 2010.

ANR9905W Unable to open file /tsm/logs/log1.dat. Cannot open or remove a file
containing a running program.

ANR0267E Log volume /tsm/logs/log1.dat is not available.

Can anyone advise why please?
