Migrate DISK storage pool to next storage pool before UPGRADE

Hi Everyone,

I need your help.

I will be restoring a tsm 5 db to a new system/server and then upgrade tsm 5 to tsm 6

My preffered method would be to "flush" a disk storage pool by migrating all the data to the next storage pool which is tape (LTO3) before I upgrade the server, but it does not migrate all the data when I do this? I even had INFLOG-DISK running hi=0 and lo=0. Is there an option in the update stg I have not configured corectly?

Another obtion is to update volumes of the DISK storage to Unavailable or Destroyed I presume, create new disk volumes for the DISK storage pool and restore the storage pool from the offsite backups?

Informix logs are continually being written to the INFLOG-DISK storage pool.

Any suggestions will be appreaciated.
