Backup and collocation groups

I apologize if this thread is in the wrong location but I wasn't sure where else to start it.

We would like to move several nodes to different collocation groups. Rather than having the data spread across a large group of tapes I thought it might be easier to move the nodes to the new collocation group, and then run a new full backup, creating a new starting point for the subsequent incremental backups. Does this seem like a reasonable path to take?

Also, I'm not sure how to force TSM to run a new full backup rather than an incremental.
