Hi, I'm facing a wired situation with my TDP Exch backups.
We have 4 nodes, 1 exchange policy domain, 4 Management Classes and 4 LTO Exchange STGPOOLS
NODES POLDOM MGMTCLASS STGPOOL
SERVNAME_DAY EXCHANGE WEEK EXCHANGE_DAILY
SERVNAME_WEEK EXCHANGE MONTH EXCHANGE_WEEKLY
SERVNAME_MONTH EXCHANGE YEAR EXCHANGE_MONTHLY
SERVNAME_YEAR EXCHANGE 5YEARS EXCHANGE_YEARLY
I've configure the VSS POLICY BINDINGS as this:
VSSPOLICY * * FULL TSM 5YEARS
VSSPOLICY * * FULL TSM MONTH
VSSPOLICY * * FULL TSM YEAR
VSSPOLICY * * FULL TSM WEEK
In the DSM.OPT for the tpd exchange nodes I've configured the include statement as this:
include "SERVNAME\...\*" EXCHMGMT
But my backups are not using the storage pool they should use.
This is an example, the DAILY backup is writing its info to a MONTHLY tape.
HOW SHOULD IT SET UP THE POLICY BINDINGS IN ORDER TO HAVE MY BACKUPS TO THE RIGHT STORAGE POOL?
